A new pediatric care center on the northern edge of Indianapolis is set to provide additional services at an established medical office property.
Ivy Rehab for Kids, part of the national Ivy Rehab network for outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy throughout the United States, signed a 10-year lease at Lakeview Medical Office Plaza in October.
Ivy Rehab's mission of enhancing the lives of young patients through specialized therapies led to the deal's selection by local industry professionals as a winner of a 2025 CoStar Impact Award for the lease of the year in the Indianapolis area.
Senior Vice President of Leasing Charles Yeo and Jenny McAllister, the property manager of the Lakeview Medical Office Plaza for Indianapolis-based Cornerstone Companies, secured the deal for the new pediatric clinic.
Lakeview Medical Office Plaza, located on North Meridian Street near Interstate 465, is owned by American Healthcare REIT, according to CoStar data.
About the deal: With a team of skilled and compassionate therapists, Ivy Rehab delivers individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs. The therapy programs address a range of pediatric conditions, including sensory processing difficulties, handwriting development, mobility challenges, self-regulation, developmental delays, motor coordination, and social skills.
Ivy Rehab, founded in 2003, also offers applied behavior analysis, known as ABA therapy, that's commonly used to treat autism and other developmental disorders.
The new Indianapolis clinic was scheduled to open in March.
What the judges said: "This was a new lease with a tenant that will make a big difference in the community," said Laura Haynes, senior vice president and division manager of commercial lending for Stock Yards Bank & Trust.
"This is an expansion of the vital pediatric therapy services provided by Ivy Rehab," noted Julia Evinger, first vice president of investments for Marcus & Millichap.
