The unemployment rate for Milwaukee remained unchanged in January at just 3.1%, according to the latest data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Although this rate is slightly above the Wisconsin statewide average of 3%, it remains lower than the national average, which stood at 4% at that time.
