Amarillo, Texas, the largest city in the state's panhandle, experienced a resurgence in demand driven by a renewed interest in three-star apartments. Recent activity has been fueled by a growing number of active renters, as consumer sentiment showed signs of improvement, complemented by an uptick from seasonal leasing. The year's second quarter registered a three-year high for net absorption of 135 units, the highest quarterly total since the third quarter of 2020.
