Pulte To Join Pennsylvania Governor-Elect Shapiro's Transition Team
Tim Pulte, an executive managing director and market leader for Collier's Philadelphia tri-state region, has been appointed to serve on the transition advisory committee for economic development with Governor-elect Josh Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor-elect Austin Davis in Pennsylvania.
The committee serves to assist the incoming administration and prepare to advance its top priorities. As part of the committee, Pulte will advise the Shapiro-Davis transition on state economy issues by reviewing current policies and making recommendations on how to spur innovation in the state, expand the economy, reduce taxes, cut regulations and support the commonwealth's rural communities and its place as an energy leader, according to a corporate statement by Colliers.
Pulte will serve on the business development team led by Economic Development Chair Matt Smith, president of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce. Other members of the team include former congressional member Charlie Dent, state economic development official Luke Bernstein, who serves as the president and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry, and other local business leaders.
At Colliers, Pulte is responsible for managing and developing office and industrial brokerage teams across the region.
“We are proud of our friend and colleague Tim who will be playing an active role advising the incoming Pennsylvania gubernatorial team on ways to grow our economy in the Commonwealth. His 35+ years of experience in corporate real estate and the public sector — along with his proven ability to foster teams and growth here at Colliers — will be an invaluable asset as he navigates the pressing issues and priorities of the voters and our soon-to-be Governor Shapiro,” said Doug Sayer, Colliers tri-state region president and CEO, in a statement.
Pulte is the former chief operations officer of the Delaware River Port Authority and previously served on the transition committees for Mayor Michael Nutter and Governor Ed Rendell.
Throughout his career, Pulte has served on numerous boards including the board of trustees for Thomas Jefferson University, the board of directors for the Philadelphia Police Athletics League and the advisory council for Villanova University School of Business. He was previously selected by gubernatorial appointment to the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority as well as to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s council of trustees.
