Frontier Enterprises delivered a 257-unit apartment building as part of a planned mixed-use development that aims to create a walkable and eco-friendly community in the middle of one of the largest logistics hubs in the United States.
The project, called Vasari at Ventana, is a luxury project in San Bernardino County's Fontana, a city that “needed substantial housing,” according to Brandon Sudweeks, president of Coldwell Banker Commercial SC.
Vasari will ultimately take up 80 acres of a new 101-acre, master-planned development that will include 1,700 homes, retail and other uses. As the first project, Vasari at Ventana has been selected by a panel of local industry professionals as the winner of the 2024 CoStar Impact Awards Multifamily Development of the Year for Inland Empire.
Rents for the project range from north of $2,000 per month to $3,000 per month, according to CoStar data. The complex is operated on a “state-of-the-art solar Virtual Grid, redefining the standard for eco-friendly living,” the developer said.
About the project: Amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, yoga studio, coworking areas, and a pool and outdoor spa with firepits and cabana seating.
What the judges said: "Proud to see such a quality, timeless and beautiful multifamily project in the heart of Inland Empire. Also, kudos to the state of the art solar built into the community for a quality and affordable living experience," said Lynn Yangchana of MGR Real Estate.
They made it happen: Greystar Community Manager Katie Davidson, Frontier Communities CFO Rich Munkvold and head of real estate acquisitions Tim Nguyen.
Note: Since publication, Frontier Communities has rebranded. The company is now known as the Previti Group.
