BGO Properties, the Canadian arm of global real estate investment management adviser BGO, has a new leader.
BGO, a company with its global headquarters in Miami Beach, Florida, and Canadian headquarters in Toronto, promoted Michelle Brown as head of BGO Properties. The company's business lines include property management and operations, leasing services, construction services and a third-party services platform for all asset classes in Canada.
In her new position, Brown will be responsible for leading the operations and financial performance of BGO Properties, a company that has over 450 properties with 69 million square feet under management across Canada.
Christina Iacoucci, managing partner and head of Canada for BGO, said Brown's track record, collaborative approach and leadership capabilities over a 24-year career with BGO made her the right choice to lead BGO Properties.
"Her comprehensive understanding of our business will be an integral element to achieving our financial and service goals for our clients, as well as our strong growth objectives for BGO Properties and the overall firm in Canada," said Iacoucci in a statement.
BGO was previously known as BentallGreenOak before rebranding as BGO early this year. It is part of SLC Management, Toronto-based Sun Life's institutional alternatives and traditional asset management business.
