Newmark Executive Managing Director Suzanne Lee represented her alma mater recently at a networking event during LA Tech Week in the Los Angeles area.

Lee, who holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Stanford University in Stanford, California, said in a LinkedIn post that she was "proud to fly the Cardinal flag on behalf of Newmark" at an LA Tech Week party hosted by the Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs of Southern California. The venue in the Brentwood Hills neighborhood near Los Angeles overlooked the "spectacular Mandeville Canyon," Lee said.

Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs of Southern California organized the event that was attended by a group of founders, investors and supporters of the group. "The passion and energy were palpable and inspiring," Lee said.

Lee, who joined New York-based Newmark's West Los Angeles operation in January, is an office broker who works on occupier and investment services for multimarket accounts in the technology, financial services and nonprofit sectors. She previously spent nearly 12 years at Cushman & Wakefield, where she was an executive director who focused on tenant representation and investment sales.

International law firm Morrison Foerster and Manatt Consulting were gold sponsors of the event, and Newmark and wealth management company GoodFin were bronze sponsors.
