Global Manufacturer Needs More Space

ACT Manufacturing Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronics equipment, has signed a 7-year sublease and will occupy 401 Elm St. in Marlborough, MA. Located on a 37-acre hilltop and only a few miles from many local highways, this single-story, 126,000-square-foot, Class-B flex building will serve as the new facility for ACT Manufacturing. Headquartered at 2 Cabot Road in Hudson, MA with offices in the U.S., Ireland, Mexico and Taiwan, ACT Manufacturing provides electronic manufacturing solutions to the electronics, communications, and medical industries. The expansion space will be used for the fabrication of custom designed circuit boards. Vice President John M. Harris of Spaulding & Slye/Colliers represented the sublessor, MACK Technologies, in the transaction. Senior Vice President William D.
