JLL adds healthcare broker in Detroit
Miriam Rhein joined JLL in its Detroit office as senior vice president to lead brokerage and portfolio management efforts in the healthcare sector. Rhein will have a variety of roles, including negotiating lease renewals and evaluating new site acquisitions, JLL said. “Her deep expertise in navigating complex market dynamics" will benefit the brokerage's clients, said Dave MacDonald, JLL managing director, in a statement. Rhein previously served as a vice president at Colliers. She also owned and operated a retail advertising agency for eight years before moving into the industry. Her focus since then has been on healthcare real estate, including managing the Ascension Michigan hospital portfolio. Rhein is president of the British American Business Council of Michigan and inaugural communications chair of the Women in Healthcare Michigan chapter. She is also actively involved in launching the Michigan chapter of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals.
New partner joins Adirondack Capital
Adirondack Capital Partners has named Chad Sinsheimer as a partner in the capital markets advisory firm’s New York City office. He will focus on selling large multifamily, industrial and land properties across the Northeast, particularly in central New York State, northern New Jersey and New York City, the firm said. Adirondack Capital works with clients specializing in the acquisition and sale of multifamily, office and retail properties
Sinsheimer has more than 25 years of investment experience in commercial real estate, according to Adirondack’s website. Most recently, he spent six years as a managing director and head of the investment sales division at Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group. He also worked at Eastern Consolidated, where he focused on New York City properties.
Multifamily housing firm Bell Partners promotes senior leader
Bell Partners said it promoted Bruce Klaber to senior vice president of asset management. Klaber, who has been with the Greensboro, North Carolina-based company since 2011, has been involved in more than $4 billion of multifamily housing transactions and has led the repositioning of some 50 communities. In his new role, he will provide oversight and strategic direction to a team of Bell asset managers across the country, the company said. Before joining Bell, Klaber worked at Wells Fargo and Truist Securities in investment banking roles. He has a master’s degree from the business school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Bull Realty welcomes new commercial broker
Shadia Jaraysi has joined Bull Realty’s team of commercial real estate brokers as vice president of its retail group. She has experience in the retail sector, including helping her father manage his properties, according to a statement issued by the Atlanta-based company. Jaraysi is an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and is fluent in Arabic, helping her to connect with a larger pool of clients, Bull said. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University, northwest of Atlanta.
Three new agents on board at Global Realty Services
Global Realty Services announced that Andy Lau and Rae Arora have been hired at the New York-based company as senior investment sales associates. Lau brings more than 20 years of real estate experience in valuation, asset management and sales. He previously worked at American Investment Properties. That’s also where Arora previously worked. He brings three decades of commercial real estate experience as a property owner, builder and manager and as a due diligence consultant for lenders.
Lau and Arora are joined at Global Realty by senior leasing and development associate Gene McCaffery, who specializes in leasing and strategic development for regional shopping centers. He previously was vice president of leasing at PREIT, formerly known as Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust.
