Updated: Drug Fair Files Bankruptcy, Walgreens to Keep Most Stores Open

New Jersey Drug Store Retailer Selling All of its Stores to Walgreens

Update Published May 4, 2009: A bankruptcy judge has approved the deal for Walgreens to acquire 34 Drug Fair stores in New Jersey for $55.95 million. Originally, Walgreens said it was acquiring 32 stores and a price was not disclosed. According to Drug Fair's website, only 33 stores are currently in operation.
