JLL appoints executive to increase industrial sales in West
JLL said Todd Torok rejoined the real estate services firm as a managing director based in Salt Lake City. Torok previously worked at JLL in Chicago from 2014-2019 before leaving for a position at Mid States Realty Associates, also in the Chicago area. In his new role at JLL Capital Markets, he will lead industrial investment sales in Salt Lake City and across the Intermountain West region that includes Reno, Nevada and Boise, Idaho, the firm said.
JLL also said Torok will work closely with the firm’s markets and debt advisory teams led by Executive Managing Director Wick Udy and Salt Lake City office head Chris Gandy. Torok will play a major role in JLL’s national capital markets industrial group, where he will work with its leadership team of Senior Managing Directors Trent Agnew and John Huguenard, the firm said. “Todd's return to JLL is a significant win for our team,” Gandy said in a statement about Torok, who has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. “We’ve been working on bringing Todd back for several months."
Kidder Mathews bolsters California operations with new hire
Kidder Mathews appointed David Mastro as senior vice president and market leader for the firm’s asset services division in Southern California. He is based in Kidder Mathews' Irvine, California, office, the brokerage said. Mastro is a 35-year industry veteran who most recently held leadership positions at LDKV Management and The Buzz Oates Group of Cos.
At Kidder Mathews, Mastro will oversee a portfolio exceeding 8.5 million square feet across Southern California, the firm said. He also will direct property management operations and partner with clients to execute strategies designed to increase the value of their investments as the brokerage seeks to expand its regional presence. Kidder Mathews said.
Levin names new chief financial officer
Levin Management Corp., or LMC, named industry veteran Jeanette Oliver as its new chief financial officer as the company works to increase client services in Northeastern and mid-Atlantic states. Oliver has more than 25 years of experience in real estate and development, including in leadership roles in finance and accounting.
Prior to joining LMC, Oliver served as chief accounting officer at Silverstein Properties. She also previously was an accounting director at Forest City Ratner. In her new role at LMC, she will oversee financial reporting processes that include accounting, budgeting, credit, cash management and lease administration, North Plainfield, New Jersey-based LMC said. The firm oversees a retail-focused portfolio of more than 16 million square feet and provides services that include property management, development, leasing and acquisition consulting.
Marcus’ IPA division expands multifamily team

Andrew Leahy joined the Institutional Property Advisors division of Marcus & Millichap as senior vice president and national director of IPA’s multifamily division. The Calabasas, California-based brokerage said Leahy will lead IPA advisory teams across North America as the firm seeks to expand its apartment investment services into additional markets.
Leahy, who has more than 20 years of experience in institutional multifamily investment, portfolio management and related services, has executed more than $6 billion in transactions. He previously led investments for Elme Communities, where he expanded its apartment portfolio. He also worked with Rockefeller Group, where he led national acquisitions on behalf of domestic and global private equity investors. Leahy began his career as an analyst at Blackstone Group.
Transwestern broadens tenant advisory in Central Texas

Transwestern added Patrick Hill as a senior vice president in its Austin office as it looks to grow its tenant and workplace advisory offerings in Central Texas, the brokerage said. Hill most recently served as a senior vice president at Colliers. Before that, he worked at firms including Elevate Growth Partners and NAI Partners.
Hill, an Austin native, has nearly a decade of industry experience. He's worked on relocations, expansions, dispositions and acquisitions valued at a total of more than $100 million. He has experience working with several property categories and transaction structures and has handled including zoning and permitting assignments in the evolving Austin commercial landscape. He will work with Transwestern Central Texas market leader Brandon Lester, the company said.
