A group from brokerage Cresa headed out this month as part of a fundraiser to see Dead & Co. play live at Chicago's Wrigley Field in what the band led by former Grateful Dead members said is its last tour.
Cresa CEO Tod Lickerman and Dennis Gralla, managing principal of Cresa New Jersey, hosted the Cresa Cares outing at the June 10 concert. Lickerman also hosted a pre-show dinner party as part of the effort to support Cresa Cares, the brokerage's charitable group. Cresa President Greg Schementi was there, and Zac Conley came in from Albany, New York, and Will Condrey from Houston.
The group won the concert tickets during a silent auction at Chicago-based Cresa's annual meeting this spring in Atlanta. "Overall at the meeting we raised $100,000 for Cresa Cares," Cresa executive Alison Scott said in an email about the annual meeting where Cresa's own rock band, made up of its staff, performed.
"What a great way to bond with colleagues — great food and live music!," Cresa said of the night out in Chicago. "It was a wonderful evening of music, camaraderie, and fun while raising money for our Cresa Cares charities."
