Appointed group director for sustainability and environmental, social and governance at TUI Group. Starting at the firm in 2014, she begins her latest role on July 1;
Arnoud Vink
Appointed head of development for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Choice Hotels, reporting to CEO Jonathan Mills. Vink spent the years 2006 to 2021 at Accor, most recently as senior vice president and head of development and franchising;
Daniel Ruff
Promoted to CEO at hotel firm Belmond, having joined the company in 2018 as chief operating officer. Ruff will be based in London and report to Stéphane Rinderknech, chairman and CEO of Belmond’s owner, LVMH Hospitality Excellence, a division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton;
Edward Leenders and Danilo Zucchetti
Appointed as general managers at two new hotels to be opened by Maltese hotel firm Corinthia Hotels. Leenders is taking the helm at the 125-room Corinthia Brussels, in the former Grand Hotel Astoria; and Zucchetti will manage the 60-room Corinthia Rome. Leenders was most recently managing director at Amsterdam’s Hotel De l’Europe, while Zucchetti previously was vice president of operations at Baglioni Hotels;
Vanessa Franzé
Promoted to director of rooms at the 267-room Andaz London, where previously she was rooms division manager and started in 2016 as a shift manager;
Tom Ross
Promoted to managing director of The Pig Hotels, which was bought by private equity firm KSL Capital in April 2022. In 2016, Ross was promoted at the firm to operations director;
Devin Grosse
Appointed CEO at Hatfield, United Kingdom-based white-label hotel management firm Focus Hotels Management, which has a portfolio of 10 hotels and approximately 1,300 rooms. For the past decade, he has been vice president of operations at peer firm Aimbridge EMEA;
Kshitiz Bist
Is the new hotel operations manager at the 230-room Premier Inn Dubai Silicon Oasis. In the past five years, he has held roles in Dubai for Radisson Hotels Group;
Jurrian Dompeling
Promoted at JLL to the role of executive vice president of hotels and hospitality capital markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously he held the roles of vice president and then senior vice president at the business advisory.
