Population, Logistics Growth Could Create Opportunities in Some Neighborhoods

When national retailers announce store closures, they usually involve ones in the Inland Empire. For example, several Stein Mart and 24 Hour Fitness locations have closed or are expected to close before year’s end. These store closures are keeping the Inland Empire vacancy rate elevated, although net absorption appeared less negative in the third quarter compared to the first and second quarters.
