The shockwaves from Covid-19 are being felt throughout the country and will continue to do so for years to come. How big a game changer it proves to be only time will tell, however it has again brought into focus the fragility and, in truth, unsuitability of some historic attitudes and relationships between landlord and tenant. The Government has provided the initial short-term sticking plasters but it will be up to both landlords and tenants to come up with a workable long term solution.
