CBRE has announced two promotions to its retail leadership team.

George Pelling will lead CBRE’s retail investment properties business and will be responsible for driving growth. Pelling has worked at CBRE for over 12 years and has become a market leader in this area, the group said.

Tim Denny will lead CBRE’s retail occupier business.

CBRE said Denny will "enhance its strategic partnerships and drive collaboration to deliver an integrated, end-to-end service to clients". Both have joined CBRE’s retail markets board and take up their new roles with immediate effect.

In June, CBRE announced that it had appointed Graham Barr to lead the management of its UK retail markets team. Both report to Barr in their new roles.

Barr, head of UK retail at CBRE, said in a statement: “These two senior promotions will enhance our leading proposition to clients in the constantly evolving retail sector."

Bart added that "By having two clear leadership positions covering Occupier and Investor we are best placed to deliver tailored and innovative solutions to our clients that truly meet their needs as they continue to look for more integrated solutions. George and Tim are both highly experienced and will strengthen our team to drive further success.”
