Ana Morillo

Morillo has been named as corporate managing director of Palladium Hotel Group brands Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, TRS Hotels and The Unexpected Hotels. One of her previous roles was senior vice president, global commercial strategy, for Minor Hotels’ NH Hotel Group, a hotel firm where she spent almost nine years.

Julia Selyukova

Selyukova has been appointed as general manager at the 179-room Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest. She has been at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts for 11 years, with management roles at hotels in Doha and Moscow.

Nicolas Kipper

Kipper has been appointed managing director at the 126-room Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels. He arrives from the same position at the Fairmont Quasar Istanbul.

Céline Vercollier

Vercollier has been promoted to CEO at French hotel firm B&B Hotels from her role as chief financial officer, a position she has occupied since 2017.

Ruby promotes Zellinger

Following its acquisition by IHG Hotels & Resorts in February for €110.5 million, Ruby Hotels has promoted Fabian Zellinger to chief growth and innovation officer, which it said will strengthen its focus on “further growth, enhancing cross-functional collaboration and supporting long-term international scale.” Zellinger has spent six years at Ruby, and his last role was as vice president of corporate development, systems and new ventures. He is also on Ruby’s executive board.

Serafim Karouzakis

Karouzakis has been named general manager at Santo Collection, which comprises three villa and suite assets in Santorini, Greece. The move represents a Greek island jump for Karouzakis, who most recently was general manager at the TUI Magic Life Candia Maris Resort & Spa in Crete.

Three promoted to general manager roles at Marine & Lawn

Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts has promoted and appointed three team members to senior positions. Gina Clark has been promoted from director of sales to general manager at the Marine North Berwick in Scotland’s East Lothian region. Matthew Logie has been appointed general manager at the Dornoch Station Hotel in the Scottish Highlands. Richard Taylor has been appointed general manager at the Slieve Donard Hotel & Spa in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.

Ben Thomas

Thomas has been named chief operating officer, Europe, at developer and hotel-management firm Highgate. For the previous 11 years, Thomas has worked for Penta Hotels, where he was promoted from cluster general manager to chief operating and commercial officer.

Adam Flint

Flint has been elected as the new chair of the Bristol Hotel Association, taking over from Raphael Herzog, who has held the position for six years. Flint is the general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre.

Renato De Oliveira

De Oliveira has been selected as the new general manager at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Arts Barcelona. He arrives from another hotel in the brand, Ritz-Carlton, Maldives, Fari Island.

Julien Mattei

Mattei is the new chief investment officer at hotel firm A&O Hostels after previously serving as as investment director at hotel brand The Social Hub.

Jake McHugh

McHugh has been tapped to be general manager of the 300-room Grand Central Hotel in Belfast, which is owned and managed by Hastings Hotel Group. McHugh has worked in the hotel industry in Australia, China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand.

Adrien Kobeh

Kobeh has been named as director of sales at French hospitality group 2L Collection, which has five hotels in France. His last role was senior director of sales, Paris, at Accor brand Pullman Hotels & Resorts.

Double change at Hyatt Europe

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has appointed Javier Águila as chief growth officer, and Marc Jacheet joining as group president, Europe, Africa and Middle East. Águila also recently took up the role of president of Hyatt brand Inclusive Collection. Jacheet comes to Hyatt from his position as senior advisor at private equity firm Premius Capital.
