Amazon’s long-awaited Prime Air Hub opened in August after four years of planning and development. Located next to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, or CVG, the 600-acre campus consists of seven buildings, including an 800,000-square-foot robotic sort center. The new air hub will serve as the central nerve of Amazon’s cargo network, accelerating one-day and same-day capabilities. Additional facilities are planned, eventually totaling nearly 3 million square feet and employing over 2,000 workers.
