Retail Hiring Leads Orange County's Job Gains in November

Another Month of Lackluster Growth in Office-Using Sectors

According to the latest release from California’s Employment Development Department, Orange County’s unemployment rate inched up to 3% during November after the county added 5,600 nonfarm jobs during the month. That rate is 100 basis points lower than the State of California’s overall unadjusted unemployment rate and below the national average of 3.4%.
