Aimbridge Hospitality will assume management of nine hotels owned by Neema Hospitality.

The nine hotels, comprising 774 guestrooms, are located across Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, according to a news release. The hotels operate in the select-service, extended-stay and economy segments under IHG Hotels & Resorts and Choice Hotels International brands.

The portfolio of nine hotels includes the 90-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburgh Southwest Southpointe in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania; the 81-room Comfort Inn & Suites Chestertown in Chestertown, Maryland; and the 109-room Holiday Inn Express Harrisburg Southwest Mechanicsburg in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

This is the first time Aimbridge, the world’s largest third-party hotel management company, has partnered with Neema, a Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania-based hotel owner/operator, to manage hotels.

“Our select-service team is committed to achieving meaningful results for owners through our management of their properties, providing unmatched value and support as a true partner while delivering exceptional service to guests,” said Simon Mendy, divisional president of select-service hotels at Aimbridge, in the release. “Neema Hospitality also prioritizes elevated guest experiences, so this is a natural partnership for us, and we look forward to harnessing the potential of these assets to drive meaningful returns.”

Neema President Sandeep Thakrar said in the release that Aimbridge is the right partner to help expand its portfolio into new markets.

“It is critical for us to work with trusted partners who share our values and understand the importance of excellent customer service, efficiency and revenue generation,” he said.
