Ankur Shah is chief financial officer at Access Point Financial, a $3 billion hotel-focused real estate credit firm.
Shah previously was an executive at SunBridge Capital Management, a multi-strategy private equity firm, where he invested in asset management, healthcare, education, specialty finance and real estate businesses. Prior to SunBridge, he was involved in over $1.5B of hotel transactions spanning acquisitions, dispositions and financings at DiamondRock Hospitality Company (NYSE: DRH) and Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH).
He has served as a board member, observer and investor representative at non-profits and private equity portfolio companies.
Shah earned his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and completed his undergraduate studies at University of Pittsburgh.
