Small-Bay Industrial Space Remains in Very Short Supply

While vacancy in the broader industrial space market is now at a four-year high, vacancy in Boston’s small-bay segment remains near a record low. At just 2.2%, the vacancy rate for warehouse/distribution properties measuring under 50,000 square feet is more than 250 basis points lower than the vacancy rate for industrial properties above that threshold.
