Sacramento Jobs Fall Just Short of Pre-Pandemic Figures

Economic Diversification Could Lead to Growth in 2022

After adding 51,000 jobs over the past 12 months, January brought contraction in the Sacramento job market as total employment in the California capital fell by 1.1%, or 11,800 jobs. The losses were not limited to one sector of the economy as nearly every tranche recorded decreases, with education and health services being the only exception.
