Outlying Locations Will Have Highest Share of Hotel Room Increases

Many areas with the highest share of under-construction hotel rooms compared to the current total number of rooms are outside major city centers. South and East San Diego, La Guardia/North Queens, and West Phoenix will have the most significant hotel room inventory share increase among the nearly 700 submarkets tracked by CoStar/STR. However, what is driving the growth in these destinations varies.
