A new resort-style, convention center-anchored, Hyatt-branded hotel is about to get underway in a lakeside Texas city. The Sapphire Bay Resort & Conference Center will add more than 500 guestrooms, suites and villas to the nation's fourth-largest metropolitan area during a pandemic that has hit the travel and hospitality industry particularly hard as large group and convention center business has dried up with social distancing protocols.
