Orlando is in the midst of an industrial development boom that has already added 14 million square feet of new space in the past three years, with another 10 million square feet underway. Much of this construction activity is occurring in the dominant southeast Orange County area, where the Orlando International Airport is located along with major transportation routes such as state Road 429 in northwest Orange County.
