Houston's multifamily market witnessed a remarkable rebound in 2021 that has continued in 2022. Mirroring many parts of the country, the market has enjoyed record levels of demand. Net absorption in Houston, the difference between move-ins versus move-outs, ranked the second highest amount in the country, bested only by Dallas-Fort Worth, over the past four quarters. The region absorbed more than 39,000 units during this time.
