Fisher German’s Flint Explains London Office Move
Stuart Flint, Fisher German's divisional managing partner, is predicting an "exciting autumn of recruitment" for the firm's London team, after its decision to move to new offices at Becket House on Old Jewry. The move, which will see its London team relocate from nearby Ironmonger Lane, is driven by two factors: a focus on organic growth and the desire for premises which reflect its aspirations.
"The primary goal is to allow expansion," Flint tells CoStar News in a telephone call. "We have currently got 55 people in our London office and the reason we haven’t got more right now is because we just can’t accommodate them. We have got quite an ambitious plan that over the next three years will take us to just over 100 people [in London]."
The divisional managing partner adds studies of its other offices show a direct correlation between greater investment and higher staff retention, happiness and productivity. Flint says the firm has moved to future-proof its London home, acquiring a property with collaboration zones and video conferencing booths.
He expects staff numbers to swell after the move, with the company recruiting across a number of roles from September. "We know what an attraction [new offices] can be for staff because not only do they see a great working environment, but they see a business that is ambitious and they want to join it at the right time of the growth cycle."
