Three Areas Outside Manhattan Showcase Strongest RevPAR Growth

More than 200,000 migrants seeking shelter had arrived in New York City as of August 2022. Given that New York has a legal obligation to provide shelter to anyone who asks, by 2023, more than 16,000 rooms across 136 hotels were contracted by the city to serve as shelters and house migrants, refugees and the unhoused.
