According to JLL, 181,384 m² of business premises were exchanged on the Lyon market at the end of the year's third quarter, down 32% year-on-year and 29% on the five-year average. "After a rather reassuring 2nd quarter, which saw 92,000 m² added to the year's balance sheet, the 3rd quarter brought in just 38,000 m², compared with 68,000 m² the previous year, down 44%", reports the consultancy, which points out that 2024 continues to suffer from "the wait-and-see attitude of companies, who seem to be waiting for better winds to confirm their real estate projects".
