Cushman & Wakefield has recruited to its UK land, development and planning team by hiring Max Lavan as a senior consultant.
Lavan, based in Manchester, joins from infrastructure consulting firm AECOM where he has been an economic development consultant for the past three years.
He will support the growth of Cushman & Wakefield’s national economic development and appraisal practice area, as well as help clients secure public sector funding for land, property and infrastructure schemes.
The recruit will also work on the provision of business case development and appraisal, and economic modelling advice to both public and private sector clients.
It comes in the wake of the firm's reappointment to the Homes England Strategic Research, Economics and Evaluation Framework, lasting four years. It is the sole property adviser on the panel.
Ben Pretty, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s land, development & planning team, said in a statement: "Max is a fantastic addition to our growing team and brings a good economic development track record with a strong focus on business cases and impact assessment.
"He will play a key role nationally in enhancing our capacity and skills in this space."
