Interstate 45: The backbone of Texas’ industrial revolution

Despite what the name might imply, Interstate 45 is not truly much of an interstate at all. Spanning between Dallas to the north and Houston in the south, the route exists entirely within the confines of Texas. Its impact, however, is far more widespread, as it has emerged as a major driver of trade and economic development for both the state and nation as a whole.
