One of the Oldest Buildings in Montreal’s Chinatown Is Now a Protected Heritage Site

At the heart of Montreal’s Chinatown, one of North America's oldest Asian communities, a structure known as the Wing Building at 1009 Côté St. has stood for nearly two centuries. It's one of two Chinatown properties to receive heritage status this week as the Quebec government and Montreal City Council worked together to protect parts of Chinatown.
