Forecast Upgraded Despite Continued COVID Risk and Supply Reopenings Post-Renovation

Hotel occupancy in Toronto has been gradually improving since the province reopened its economy in June. The metric reached 43% in July, 10 percentage points higher than the previous month. This is a considerable jump in the right direction, but the recovery lags other Canadian urban markets that were able to reopen earlier, such as Vancouver and Calgary.
