Daye North America, a subsidiary of China-based Ningbo Daye Garden Machinery Co., confirmed plans to establish a $1.8 million manufacturing operation in Charleston County. The outdoor power equipment maker will begin manufacturing its line of lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws and lawn tractors in the Ladson Industrial Park located off Highway 78 in North Charleston.
