MBRE Healthcare, a real estate investment and development firm, has acquired a medical office complex in Colorado Springs, Colorado, only weeks after buying a national healthcare portfolio as part of a joint venture. The move could signal a resurgence of investments in medical office real estate, following a recent period of decline in such investments as income dropped for smaller medical providers when patients stayed home in almost every U.S. state amid the coronavirus pandemic.
