Suburbs Prop Dallas-Fort Worth Office Demand

Over the Past Decade, Suburbs Have Emerged as Entertainment, Employment Nodes

Since 2020, the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs have outpaced urban areas in terms of office demand. The suburbs propped up the market with 6.2 million square feet of positive net absorption, which measures the difference between move-ins and move-outs. By contrast, net absorption in the urban areas is negative 7.9 million square feet.
