More Direct Space Enters the Market Even as Sublease Totals Begin To Drop

Office tenants in San Francisco's East Bay region continue to reduce the amount of space they lease or look to relocate into smaller spaces in newer buildings to upgrade while also reducing their total rent liability. The total amount of available office space in the East Bay continues to rise, and in the third quarter it surpassed the highest point of the Great Recession, set in the fourth quarter of 2010.
