San Diego hotel pipeline is among largest of the top 25 markets

San Diego exhibits a strong pipeline of hotel rooms under construction and in final planning, as the metropolitan area has roughly 2,900 rooms underway across 10 properties, or 4.3% of the existing supply of 66,500 rooms. An additional 2,200 rooms across 18 hotels are in final planning, or 3.3% of the existing inventory.
