Labour's had a rocky year... but logistics and infra is a silver lining

The government must fund under-resourced local authorities to meet big ambitions

Labour came to power with a promise to stimulate growth through its “Plan for Change”, however facing difficult economic conditions and following a budget that imposed record tax hikes, growth in the UK has been glacial. The chancellor needs to turn things around quickly to avoid further tax hikes and she is therefore looking to the construction and infrastructure sectors to kickstart the growth the country so desperately needs.
